CRIMSON BLUE is a Nu Art / Gothic Metal female fronted band from Moscow in Russia. Band was formed in 2009 and released demo "Iceland" in 2010, album "Innocence" in 2011 and album "The Angelic Performance" on 17^th November 2014.

Opening "Locust" has nice depth of guitars, female vocal in eternity style, Progressive rate, modern sounds and oriental sounds too with beautiful singing. I like so much " Dolores" where heavier modern sounds are together with electronic echoes. In this tracks are nice sounds with KORN influences. Grooving stoner bass, gentle keys and modern echoes are in "Sacrifiction".

Catchy "3rd Eye Close'" has gentle singing in ballad style with acoustic guitars, electronic mix with stronger guitars. Climate of WITHIN TEMPTATION is noticeable. Piano and wonderful singing in "Road To Oblivion" is in climate of EVANESCENCE. Oriental influences are noticeable in melodic "Tonalli" where stronger riffs give kick-ass to the track.

Fantastic is over 11 minutes lasting track "Black Wings" where gentle voice of singing is so climatic in style of EVANESCENCE, then heavier guitars, stoner bass. Band connecting different kind of genres in Metal - from calmer elements, through stronger and to oriental ones.

Every track on new album of CRIMSON BLUE has differences. This music has climate. Musicians of Russian band has their way of playing and their work is totally interesting, You wouldn't be bored, because you can still find new sounds. From powerful to sensitive sounds, oriental sounds, modern echoes and melody. Highly recommend to every female fronted Gothic Metal fan!<
