Coronatus - Secrets of Nature album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: CORONATUS; signed via Massacre Records, hailing from the glory of Germany - performing Symphonic/Folk Metal, on their 8th full-length album entitled: "Secrets Of Nature" (released December 8th, 2017).

Since formation in 1999; the quintet in question have 7 full-length albums behind them, I'm introduced to their 8th offering: "Secrets Of Nature". 9 tracks ranging at around 43:26; the quartet incorporate a solid arrangement of intricately designed developments of uniquely composed Symphonic/Folk Metal distinctions. Starting off with "Howling Wind", CORONATUS deliver dynamic melodies and harmonic adroitness that has atmospheric orchestrations and an abundant amount of instrumental implementations and elements including Soprano vocalizations from Carmen R. Lorch & Gaby Koss, that are the most notably distinguished characteristics - they bring a lot of diligent expertise that attributes with consistent domination all round.

Consisting of complex dexterity from guitarist/bassist Marcus Stock, "Mountain Sky" & The Hunter" showcase efficiently organic aesthetics of concretely fluid rhythmic riffs and pulverizing executions that relentlessly get the groove going - fueled with hardened, yet bouncy & energetic substances in which hammers with blisteringly thunderous salubriousness. Powerhouse drummer Mats Kurth batters his steel with chaotic hostility and mayhem in mind, "Sleigh Ride To Asgard" demonstrates the band's stability with an epic supply of creative craftsmanship which showcases progressively unprecedented technicalities that captivate and motivate me while distributing an excitable formula of proficient songwriting expertise.

Embellished with a grandiose manifestation of musicianship prominence, Kristina Jülich excels with enlightening violin fabrications in songs like "Die See" & "The Little People Of Iceland" - constructing a diverse variety of succulent hymns that admirably grab my attention. The rock vocals from Mareike Makosch balance from high-pitched, orchestral-like efficaiciousness that's just filled with melodious impact and a graceful structure. "Dance Of The Satyr" distributes this well and is delightfully commendable, Teddy Möhrke also amalgamates a strong fusion of hard-hitting cords. "Tränen Des Himmels" & "Herr Mannelig" overall conclude the record with profusely robust entertainment – all I can say is, definitely check it out.
