Grunge Rock outfit COCHISE could be Poland's answer to fellow Grunge Rock giants NIRVANA and FOO FIGHTERS, their latest album '118' is hard evidence of this statement.

Opening tracks "Sweet Love Generation" and "Destroy The Angels" sets the tone of the album quite nicely; the guitar work in this song I am praising very highly and the riffs are simple yet unique and effective.  These particular tracks takes me back to my teenage years during summer time when I would just chill out and listen to grunge rock on a long car journey to our holiday destination.

The album contains a versatile collection of songs; each one is perfect for every mood under the sun. The song "Bleed" is a great one to bring out your dark and sexy side with Pawel Malasyński's husky opening vocals that remind me of Metal legend ROB ZOMBIE and its haunting riffs reinforce this mysterious, seductive side. On the other hand "Dog In Blood" is a high adrenaline fuelled track that will make you want to jump around your bedroom, so energetic it only needs a minute to show us this.

My personal favourite tracks on this album are the slower ones that provide a softer side to the band; these include "Before You Sleep (For Jeremy)", "Beautiful" and closing track "Little Witch" that allows the listener to calm down from all the high vitality.

So overall this is a great album that will provide the ideal soundtrack for my summer!
