Coalesce - There Is Nothing New Under The Sun album cover

What the f*#k is this? Some kind of a joke? I wasn't even aware of a band by the name COALESCE and Hydra Head Records decided to re-release an old EP full of covers and only one original song? Ok, this review will be more than easy. I think it will be the shortest I have ever written.

COALESCE is probably a Hardcore band, and I say probably since only the vocals are 100% Hardcore and I haven't heard any of their previous releases (if they have any). The Nothing New Under The Sun EP was originally released in 1999, and featured only the LED ZEPPELIN covers.

The American label decided to re-release the EP with more covers the band has recorded, and I am still wondering if there is even one person that would spend money to buy a crappy release like this one. Does this band have so many (devoted) fans that this re-release will sell so many copies? I doubt if it will sell any copies. The music is almost exactly the same with the original songs, with the only exception of Ingram's vocals. But, even this is not standard, since for example in Thank You he uses melodic clean vocals.

Nothing more to add. I rest my case. If you want to buy this album, then don't complain about the expensive releases and for not having money to buy a much better release (if this thing can be characterized as a release). Don't expect me to rate this EP, I just don't waste my time on doing it.
