Co-op
Co-op
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: CO-OP; signed via Ellefson Music Productions, hailing from the United States of America - performing Hard Rock, on their debut self-titled album: "Co-op" (released June 15th, 2018 (for America) and June 29th (for Europe)).
Since formation in 2014; the quintet in question have this here album in their discography so far: "Co-op"; 10 tracks ranging at around 45:51, the quartet arrange an intricately designed formula of Hard Rock developments. Starting off "N.O.W."; I already notice a grandiose manifestation of radio-friendly elements, which implements melodious rhythms that amalgamates with diligently executed proficiencies. CO-OP demonstrate distinguished composing capabilities; which conveys distinctive flamboyancy, flourished with electrical finesse in which is converged with energetic ramifications and unique stability. The band excels with with battering barrages of blistering instrumention, culminated with generated hammering and gritty heaviness - so far, so good.
Consisting of Dash Cooper (Alice Cooper's son) on lead vocals; the frontman establishes a consistent vocalization process, which is embellished with clean singing that is combined with a rough around the edges complexity. "Old Scratch" (featuring Alice Cooper himself) injects an organic substance of riveting inventiveness, pairing up with his father as the duo portrays a constructively creative songwriting aesthetic. Dextrous duo Kolby "Beetus" Peoples & Jeremy Tabor showcase thunderously thumpy riffs and solos in songs like "Howl" and "Desert Dreams"; contrasting with bouncy yet crushing beats, embodied with a crunchy tempo that is progressively technical and relentlessly stimulating all round. The silver lining here is not just Alice Cooper's son, but the epic musicianship.
"Theme For Ingorance" attributes with more components that utilizes unprecedented skill from powerhouse bassist Justin Swartzentruber, showcasing audibly boistrous salubriousness. The anthemic "Sleep" shines with elegant craftsmanship; as the band compels to captivate me with memorably original hooks, enjoyably entertaining sound production and pulverizing pummelling adroitness from drummer Nick Spann. "Condemned" brings back the heaviness with rocking specialities that has been amplified tenfold as the band assaults with onslaughts of rampaging stampedes of efficaciousness, and efficently driven remarkability. "Secret Scars" has savagely primitive malciousness, contributing more experimental exquisitity and dynamically dominate punchline grooves.
"Never Whisper The Truth" continues the diverse variety of orchestral equalities as the band brilliantly explode with fluidly polished fulfillments, enlightened with strong music to boot. Overall concluding the record with the furious "Overdrive"; my expectations were exceeded as to start, I knew this would take a while to get into. Bottom line, CO-OP certainly outdone themselves and "Co-op" is definitely a good album in its own right - check it out.<
