CLAUSTROFOBIA return with a brand new album called "I See Red". The new album is the 4th full length work of the Brazilian extreme act who this year celebrates their 11th anniversary with the original line up. CLAUSTROFOBIA started in 1996, in a satellite city of Sao Paulo, Brazil called Leme. Since its beginning, the act has become one of the most important Thrash/Hardcore/Death Metal bands of the Brazilian underground with a lot of fan following.

The band has carried out many concerts throughout Brazil as well as Europe, and played along with names such as SEPULTURA, DESTRUCTION, VADER, SOULFLY, NAPALM DEATH , Paul Dianno among others. They have also been included in television programs about Heavy Metal music in Brazil. With this album, CLAUSTROFOBIA make a strong comeback with the original lineup. The album contains 15 powerful songs ready to punch the listener in the face.

The aggressive vocals and the Thrash/Hardcore riffs along with the skillful drumming create the frenzied atmosphere intended for too much moshing! Throughout the album the death vocalisms are dominant and show that the singer has immense knowledge and experience. Listening to songs like "Our Blood" makes me eager to see this band performing live. Songs such as "Alarm" and "Raining Shift" are showcasing the skills of the band's members and specifically prove that Caio D'Angelo knows exactly what he is doing behind the drum set. Also the guitars are very well played and Alexandro D'Orio proves that except from the Heavy/Thrash guitar playing he has great skills when it has to do with acoustic playing and improvisation. The album also contains two covers: "Beneath The Remains" of SEPULTURA and "Fihla Da Puta" by ULTRAJE A RIGOR .

In general this is a dynamite album, especially if you are a fan of VADER and old SEPULTURA. CLAUSTROFOBIA is a very promising act and I believe that if in the future they expand their technical playing, engage in recreation of more rhythms and come out with more ideas they will surely make a difference in the genre.
