Bio-Death
Chaos Theory

Everyone sit down, shut up, and ready your pencils. This is how you do Thrash well. This is how it should sound. If it doesn't, you're either not Thrash or you're not doing it right. Either way, get the fuck out, we have serious business to discuss.
CHAOS THEORY happens to be Italian, and while that isn't particularly relevant, I felt like bringing it up. "Bio-Death" is pure Thrash Metal through and through. And while normally just being a pure, already clearly identified genre is usually a good way to be ignored and discarded, they do thrash so well I am willing to give them a pardon. It hooked me right from the very first riff on "Faith". I immediately knew I was going to enjoy this album. Instantly my mood shot up through the roof like Superman when he forgets he's inside.
Better riffage you will hear not, especially not in this genre. It's perfect, simply perfect. I'm going to race through this review so I can listen to "Bio-Death" again with my full attention. Admittedly, the bass is... not there? I'm not sure; couldn't hear it. But goddamn is it good nonetheless. There are so many great melodies and hooks I can't count them. Pardon me for fawning like a schoolboy, but this doesn't happen a lot so I take advantage when I can. The vast majority of Metal is generic slurry of musical shit, and only a few plush cherries poke out from the goo to be worth picking up. And once you wash all the little pieces of poo off of that cherry, you have a delicious, decadent treat worth hoarding from everyone because it has to be yours. This is that.
I don't want to oversell it for anyone, I know that's a great way to shine people off of something when they think it's going to be the musical equivalent of Jesus Christ coming back and forming an Italian Thrash band for some reason and then it turns out to merely be the second coming of Jim from corporate accounts payable. So I guess I need to find something to criticize so I don't look like a complete tool.
I don't care for the band logo font. Beyond that, top marks all around. May the awesomeness of this album obliterate all the shitty Black Metal upon this Earth. Also, nine points.
