Cavalera Conspiracy - Pandemonium album cover

It has been almost four years since CAVALERA CONSPIRACY released "Blunt Force Trauma"; now near the end of the year, we have been given the sign that these Brazillian titans have returned, and this time, they aim to cause "Pandemonium" for us all.

To start off with I would like to say what an honor it is to be reviewing an album for, what is by far, one of the most important bands in the twenty first century. We start off with the first track off of what is already a titan of a record indeed, we begin with "Babylonian Pandemonium". As the track begins, we already have a fast and painful creation in the work. The drum tracks by Iggor Cavalera are as sharp as ever with this track and have the right amount of speed and rage that he is known for in his line of work. As well with this track in all it has this very demonic presence to it within Max's vocal lines, as well showing that they have this untold rage that needs to be let loose in one whole gust of power and control. The band themselves prove that they still have the right to their iconic sound through aggression, speed and hate, and as well with this massive piece of mental madness and unleashed prowess.

The second track I decided to add onto this review is one of the songs that many fans have had the chance to hear by now; the track I am of course talking about is the track, Bonzai Kamikazi. We start off with a very traditional sounding Cavalera sound found in a lot of the brothers past works; it holds a very tight speed and brutal force to it as any CAVALERA CONSPIRACY song will, but the difference is that this song has something to it which I can't really put my finger on; it could be that the song itself has more speed then your average CC song, but either way, Max is still showing that he has the same rage as he had when he first started off as a musician. To be very honest, this shows what this band has been working as for the years that they have been active, they show that through this song that they have been able to mainatain the right of the sound that they forged as a band, and with this, they have shown us all that no matter what they are still growing stronger along with the riff maniac himself, Marc Rizzo still bringing it hard and fast as he always has done.

To conclude. I believe that with the creation of this new record, we see a new and exciting future for the Cavalera's, without a doubt, yes "Blunt Force Trauma" was an amazing record to be true, but "Pandemonium" is truly an aggressive, hate filled piece of mastery to which I beleive cannot be matched. This is truly a power to be reckoned with and whatever comes their way, better be prepared for a storm, for this is a battle that cannot be matched by anything at this time.<
