Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: CAMELTOE; signed via Battlegod Productions, hailing from Norwegian grounds - performing Hard Rock, on their debut album entitled: "Up Your Alley" (released 23/03/2018).

Since formation in 2013; the quintet in question have finally delivered their debut album entitled: "Up Your Alley", and it certainly is. 10 tracks ranging at around 42:75; the quartet arrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting Hard Rock distinctions, CAMELTOE - an unprecedented band name for Hard Rock, yet wonderfully splendid. Starting off with the bouncy opening track: "Delusional"; already I am enjoying a solid slab of dynamically executed fabrications, with the song's catchy and crunchy delights - the band flourish with concrete creativity to keep one captivated and enlightened with blistering rhythms that have a grandiose manifestation of profusely robust adrenaline and relentlessness to it.

Consisting of Tron Sturle Aune on guitars, who consistently provides a complex development of energetic dexterity in the next song "Screaming My Head Off". The savagely sinister riffs and solos supply an adroit abundance of thumpy aesthetics, amalgamated with the brutally elegant hammering from drummer Tobby Johansen - who has an organic substance of fluidly polished efficiency in his jumpy performances. "Never What It Seems" slowed things down a bit; with its anthemic yet melodious contrast, as vocalist Ben Rodgers demonstrates clean vocals juxtaposed with a deep yet high-pitched proficiency in which is exquisite and enjoyably engaging. CAMELTOE are admirably entertaining so far, surprisingly exceeding original expectations.

"Tank Commander" has a distinguished flavor of harmonically battering grooviness; as bass/keyboardist Nils Morten Beitnes distributes a vast amount of primitive orchestrations, while keeping things electrically thunderous with the rampaging onslaught of fiercely diligent yet progressive technicalities that grabs and hooks me fulfillingly. "I Always Cared" has a charming, calmer tone that establishes yet another anthemic ballad as Trond Bakken on additional guitars showcases constructive efficaciousness in his contributions which have a powerful flamboyancy and inventively experimental craftsmanship to it.

"Twisted Fister" keeps the prolific sharpness in full effect, as the catchy songwriting and sound production adequacy makes me want more with its original memorability that excels with dominant stability. "Coming Home" embellishes sufficient attributions which has a vehement tastefulness to it, similar characteristics are profound in "Devils Home" & the excellent, "Rocky Road". Overall concluding "Up Your Alley" with the epic finale track: "Spread My Wings, CAMELTOE definitely outdone themselves with their debut – influenced by bands like DOKKEN; this record lived up to that and they are incredibly talented on that front. Bottom line, if you are a fan of aforementioned bands - this record is for you.
