Caliban - Coverfield album cover

I am really trying to find the importance of this release and I still can't think of anything. In times of economic crisis and when things are so difficult moneywise, Caliban choose to release an EP, with only four covers, not a single one new track, expecting from us to listen to it, and for God's sake, to buy it!

Calibanare attempting to demolish each and every song, and believe me they have managed to do it really well, proving that they can't escape from the publicity's downfall and the total commercial sound that they developed in their last albums. Caliban seems that they want to be the new In Flames, rejoicing the fruit of broadcasting songs and temporary ''hits'' on the route that In Flames already paved, a whole zero!

The covers are unworthy to discuss about, uninspired, boring and without any meaning, they sound like noise to my ears and I'm not willing to dig any further. Especially with their blasphemous attempt to play ''Blinded by Fear'' they've gone too far.

It's really sad when you see bands you once loved, becoming pop stars. Caliban were the first, Heaven Shall Burn follow, and then God knows who's next..
I dare you to listen it...at your own risk!
