BOOMERANG RAPIDO is a Party Rock band that was formed in 2015 in the city of Oslo after the musicians filled their faces with beer. The band released the album ''Rises Again'' in 2019 and that's what we're going to talk about.
The first song on the album is called ''Special'' and it really has an interesting vibe. The guitar riffs are very good, the drums and bass too. The vocal lines are easy to record and the chorus is sticky and will make you sing right after hearing it for the first time. The guitar solo is funny and the music will make you want to party. "Jumping The Shark'' rolls in with simple rocking drums and then comes in some riffs reminiscent of 70s bands and some Indie Rock bands as well. There are interesting guitar solos between one stanza and another. A fun song.
"Konstantinopel" starts with a groovy bass riff and then guitar and drum riffs come in to complete the sound that will make you bang your head. It's a song that has a more Rock N 'Roll vibe and sounds like British Punk Rock. It has a very fun guitar solo and it shows that the guys know how to have a good party. Then we have "Ballin'" which starts with clearer guitar sounds and even reminded me of LYNYRD SKYNYRD in a few moments. It's a song that has a bluesy vibe and the drum and bass work is flawless.
Next up is "Kiss! Kill!" which starts with a Punk Rock riff and then a groove vibe when the vocals come in. The song was able to absorb Punk Rock and Rock N 'Roll in a very well done way. It is a good song. ''Bonafide Romeo'' recalled ARCTIC MONKEYS and starts off with groove on bass and very consistent drums. It's a fun song that will make you bang your head all the time. The song follows a slow line and so far, is the most different from the album.
The next song, ''Mixdown'' follows the line of the last one and starts with a bass and drum riff. Next come some guitars that helped create a fun mood for the song. The guitar riffs are interesting and very rocky. This song will make you jump for sure. The highlight of the song goes to the bassist and guitarist. "Baby I Was Wrong" starts with a very fun guitar riff that will make you dance like it was the 60's and 70's. The ending of the song is more hectic and the guitars take on more aggressive power and we have a sentence spoken in Norwegian.
The album ends with ''Paula Schultz'' which starts with a very groovy guitar riff that will make you bang your head instantly. It's a very fun song and one that makes you want more. It has a very interesting guitar solo and possibly one of the coolest on the album. It's a great song to wrap up for well-made album.
