Mapping The Moment With The Logic Of Dreams

This is an album from a band that includes acclaimed metal cover art creator Costin Chioreanu. The band has been together since 2013. They created an EP which was released in 2014, which then led the way for this full length release.
The BLOODWAY album starts off with an atmospheric bell chiming and some garbled speech and various sounds before it kicks into some nice doom riffs.
"The Transfinite Castaway" is a great kick off to the album with quirky meanderings leading into an almost gothic section before the vocals finally kick in.
This release contains screaming vocals and plenty of chaos sounds and this is not an album for the faint hearted. It will stir the soul and mind.
"Walking Past Near The Lighthouse" has a great opening that sets the tone and lets the listener know what they are in for. For true metal fans, it's a treat; for those more interested in the mainstream, not so much of a treat. This is by no means, mainstream metal at all, but metal created by musicians that live and breathe their metal and music.
"Early Glade Test Pilot" was a highlight for me and definitely one of the more epic moments of the album, with a doom starting, before picking up the pace and thrashing out in the end. These guys are skilled musicians and work hard at their craft.
Another track I really enjoyed was "A Hallow Bridge", which got the head nodding along bringing images to my mind of an army marching towards battle.
Discordant sounds would be one way to describe this music. Music should take you to another place and fill your head with thoughts and images taking you to another world. This is an album filled with imagination. Stark beautiful black and apocalyptic, this is inspired music for metalheads that appreciate pure metal.<
