Belphegor - Goatreich - Fleshcult album cover

Austria's tradition for fine music (and producing spirits, of course!) - since it's the mother country of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - continues with full quality since it's also the musical womb for Death Metal cult acts such as Pungent Stench and of course extra pure evil Belphegor!
From the first to the last second, Goatreich - Fleshcult presents a musicaly hellish bloodbath, not ashamed to deliver any kind of musical variety. Indeed Belphegor proudly show their true colors: Death Metal with a merciless Black Metal spin. Their technical prowess also shines through and can be appreciated in the solos that adorn each track. Fans of the band will not think twice to make this album theirs and neither should anyone into Death/Black Metal. With each new Belphegor release one thing remains certain: the band takes no prisoners to the gutters of hell. On the forefront are the expected neck-breakers and fast Death Metal parts, which alternate with slower passages and breaks only to resume above and beyond all speed limits.
The possibility of liking this album if you are not a Black / Death Metal fan in general, is much smaller than the possibility of me having a date with Jena Jameson (Orpheus can you do something about it ? I promise to take a bath and bring the reviews in time!)! In other words this musical proposition is strongly focussed for the unholiest Metal fans! Your attention should be focussed mostly (apart from the nun in the cover artwork) on the following ill hymns: The Crucficus Anus Dei, Kings Shall Be Kings, Sepulture Of Hypocrisy, The Crown Massacre, among others. Goatreich - Fleshcult comes in 3 formats:
* On Ltd. Edition Digipack with Bonus track: Heresy Of Fire
* The regular CD version
* Ltd. Vinyl Edition on LP Format (Gatefold-180gr. / April '05 )
Note that the unholiest album cover was created by Mr. Ralph Manfreda. The album has been released in Europe on the 28th of February through Napalm Records while a U.S. release date is set to April 5th, 2005 via Napalm Records Rec. USA / Ryko Distribution.
Do you think that Mozart would approve of Belphegor? No matter what his opinion would be you must check out this blasphemous gem and be sure that all Stryper-addicted fans and generally Pope lovers must be at least 666 miles away from your stereo system!
