From Bandcamp, "Sometimes the toughest of times can spark endless creativity. In our changing and challenging world the art of making music has changed. Four veteran musicians based in different locations covering both the US and Canada came together over the past two years to write and record ten new heavy progressive songs that are loaded with memorable riffs, beats, vocals hooks and melody." The album has ten songs.

"LaCrossians" is the first. The sound is interesting...there are elements of Progressive Music amidst the semi-clean vocals and hasty sound. There are also some nice hooks. Like AC/DC or MOTORHEAD, it's all about finding that riff and driving it home. "Supernatural" is a slightly darker offering with vocal harmonies in the chorus. The songs are short and sweet for the most part. "The Silent Type" has some dissonant elements in the music, though the vocals are fairly smooth. They infuse some harmonies in the chorus, but the dissonant elements take over the sound.

"The Humans" is another odd sounding song with a bit of a slower pace. There are also some minor phasing issues in the music. At this point in the album, I am scratching my head a bit. "Jennifer Wilson" is the shortest on the album, at under three minutes in length. Some of the things that the band needs to work on are exposed in this song...the riffs are too simple and the music is thin, and those vocals, are just weird. "All of Our Lives" was the only single I could find on the album. Keyboards lead off the strange sound once again. There is a nice moment of melody, but it is short lived. "Video Game" is the longest. It has a darker sound with a bit of a vocal snarl.

"Last Known Survivor" closes the album. It leads in nicely, but settles back to those really odd and strange tones. Besides the decent production and fairly strong bassist, this album offers little to the genre of Hard Rock. There were some fleeting moments of melody, but for much of the album, the band struggled to keep on a melody line. Instead, they stepped off into a darker path less traveled with a lot of dissonant tones. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but there were no discernable connections in the music. You can safely skip this one.
