It's always a pleasure hear something new from Canada from time to time. That part of the world gave us wonderful bands like, RUSH, EXCITER, VOIVOD, SACRIFICE, ANNIHILATOR CAULDRON, KATAKLYSM and others. The ARBITRATOR showing to us here a very interesting sound mixing Death Metal with Satanism and Industrial. The result it's something chaotic but very powerful and just in your face. Despite the album only have 6 tracks, those show to the listener the good result when you mix different styles and create your own with success.

In "Indoctrinations of Sacrilege", you will find influences from bands like, VOIVOD, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, KATAKLYSM, MOONSPELL, VOODOOCULT and new SAMAEL. Robert Kukla uses his vocal versatility here making him sound like a furious demon yelling with hate but it fits like a glove in this album because it's leads the listener to a chaotic dimension. The guitarist Myles Malloy produces great riffs and the presence of Connor ORT Linning it's fundamental to create the perfect environment full of hate and blaspheme that this album contains. However, for sure the headline in this album here is Mr. Dirk Verbeuren, which is a renowned studio drummer with a remarkable ear for music and 20 years of experience. He has been playing along his career with names like, NUCLEAR BLAST ALLSTARS, ABORTED, SATYRICON, WARREL DANE BAND and so many others. This guy brought to ARBITRATOR furious and technical drumming and also a new breath to the ARBITRATOR's Death Industrial Metal. The whole album is so massive and it is impossible to choose just one track among the whole album since all the material are very precise and so well finished.

However, for sure, the track "Serpent of The Styx" deserves a special mention here with an incredible guitar solo and the atmosphere reminds me a lot of the MOONSPELL album, "The Butterfly Effect". The band was assisted by the experienced producer Jens Bogren (OPETH, KATATONIA, AMON AMARTH, ARCH ENEMY) and the artwork was made by Colin Marks who also has worked with bands like, EXODUS, SCAR SYMMETRY, and JEFF LOOMIS BAND. So if you enjoyed the first EP, "The Consummate Ascendancy", you will will love or hate this new album because the band decides to dive with no fear into the Industrial sound and they did so well.
