Infected by Evil

I think I've pointed out before that Germany's Thrash Metal scene never disappoints, but I will continue to say that until I die. ANTIPEEWEE, the hardcore Thrashers of Bavaria don't have any cool-ass stage presence or special outfits, they arrive on stage in the clothes they wore all day, and rock people's ears off. No reason to add any bells and whistles. ANTIPEEWEE see themselves as unpretentious. Formed in 2006, the band relies heavily on occult and mysticism lyrics (mainly H.P. Lovecraft) as well incorporating classic Thrash political jabs and unfriendly messages to those who abuse power or step on people for no reason other than pure hate. With projectile rage and toxic riffs, "Infected By Evil" is the band's latest weapon of violent audio warfare.
The band marches toward battle in "Intro" with dramatic drum beats and riffs only to charge headfirst screaming toward enemy trenches in "Hideous Fate", asking the Ancient Hydra for strength as they shred enemies to ribbons with heady, screeching chords courtesy of Coralie "Hardcora" Baier. Coralie's solos, blistering her way up and down the fretboard. "Infected by Evil" has Alexander "Schottmachine" Schott's bass works writhe and undulate like underwater eels in the background as catchy, punk-inspired verses kick the song up to eleven. "Dagon" is the catchiest song on the album, with addictive choruses of the dreaded fish god Dagon. According to research, Dagon is a Philistine fertility god that got adopted by H.P. Lovecraft's mythos in one of his short stories. Screaming damnation in "Dreams in The Witchhouse", of monstrous creatures in an abandoned mausoleum in "Buried (No Way Out)", summoning unspeakably horrific monsters from the deepest depths of the Earth in "Army of Deep Ones", ANTIPEEWEE are a wild ride.
Rouse the Old Ones from their sleep and offer "Infected by Evil" to them!
