Aldaria - Land of Light album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: ALDARIA; signed via Pride & Joy Music, hailing Norwegian grounds - performing Melodic Power Metal, on their debut album entitled "Land Of Light" (released March 24th, 2017).

Since formation in 2014; the quintet in question has only 2 singles behind them, I introduce myself to masterminds Frode Hovd's debut invention - ALDARIA - "Land Of Light". 11 powerful tracks ranging at around 59:30; the solo creationist has formed a multitude of musicians from various artists from around the world, to name the most popular that I personally know of: RHAPSODY OF FIRE, SYMPHONY X - to name a couple. Opening with the epic introductory instrumental "Excitare Ad Lucem", this contrasts with already exceptional instrumentation and flourishes with excelling proficiencies. Even in the next track "Another Life", the musical melodies of constructively complex musicianship comes in with full force. Recognized as a Metal Opera conceptual record; fused with Power Metal intricacies, all singers and virtuoso perform with graceful intentions and exercise in elegant prominence.

Right off the artwork and speakers; I witness an extraordinary elemental influence that stems from the famous The Hobbit/The Lord Of The Rings films, in which amalgamate into one fashionable package. "Land Of Light" showcases more delicately complex distinctions and enticing dexterity, filled with ultimate passion in fabricating the ultimate abstraction. High-pitched screams, and efficiently composed riffs have an exquisite organically formed aesthetic built in.

"Guardians Of Light" implements an ingeniously devised substance of salubrious effects, each member so far has an unprecedented recollection of sufficient harmonies and melodies that conceive with diverse enlightenments. "Sands Of Time" stems from a similar advantageous reward, the Melodic Power Metal sub-genre is spot on and coherently contrives in adroit progression – all singers make this record a fulfilling sing-along, while having unique, choir-like essences to it. "Lost In The Darkness Below" continues this illuminate experience with more manifestations of varieties, the instrumentation is professionally approached with chugging riffs and crushingly pounding drums that makes the sound production delightfully satisfying. "Test Of Time" offers pianist consistencies in which conduct an enjoyably orchestrated conversion, "Land Of Light" so far is an admirable representation of remarkable results.

"Trial Of Tears" showcases more of those splendidly executed synth works while fusing more stunningly crafted keyboardist segments that doesn't seem to get ill-advised at all, more high-pitched rhythmic adaptations fill this portion of the record, and a substantial amount of succulent riffs and songwriting that's original and all-in-all memorable. "Where Reality Ends" carries on the tradition of finesse and fashionable divinity.

The titular track "Land Of Light" is the longest on the record at 11:53, and comprises of galloping riffs that has a groovy adequacy to it - as the chorale arrangements glorify with captivatingly, pleasurable ramifications. A very welcoming flute exert adds more frolic technicality mid-paced in the song, I can't stress more how each player energetically proliferate with contented bliss. It's as if there's a hidden message in the song to radiantly excel yourself, and extinguish all negative forces in your wake. Concluding with "Answers In A Dream" including an uncommon musical component which showcases an eccentric assortment, evidently. I find myself overall flabbergasted with this one, ALDARIA is a solid slab of artistic brilliance - a super group of supreme dominance that will have you stunned at the sheer equalities this quartet delivers, if you're into RHAPSODY, this is indefinitely worth a go.
