AEVUM is Symphonic, Neoclassic, Theatrical Metal band from Turin in Italy. Band was formed in 2008 and released two Eps "Celestial Angels" in 2008 and "Nova Vita" in 2012, single record "My Vampire" in May 2013 and their first full-length "Impressions" on 21^st October 2014.

Great is „Blade's Kiss" with great dark climate, keys and stronger riffs. Female opera vocal together with male voice sounds great. Piano and progressive change rate inside this track prove that band coneccting many styles inside their music. My number one is "Lost Soul" which begin with folkish echoes, stronger riffs and energy! Man's vocal sounds like a Dani (CRADLE OF FILTH) by moment, but great sounds together clear singing by Hydra with opera high vocal of Evelyn. Memorable sounds, also powerful and progressive with THERION influences. So interesting is "To be or... to be" which is opening by calm piano and beautiful gentle male singing. What a wonderful ballad it is singing together by man and woman! Epic climate and even little swing climate with slowly piano; here band add stronger riffs and amazing guitar riffs.  Nice both vocalist singing is hearable in "Il lamento della Nimfa" where is gentle sounds, opera singing and stronger guitars. Listening "Monsters" is fine experience where heavier riffs is together with opera vocal and hard man's vocal with little hoarse. Progressive sounds, sensitive and stronger sounds are changeable, and also accordion add flavour to this track. In "The Battle" AEVUM mix great atmosphere of gentle opera vocal which create ballad climate with aggression and progressive, also scream and soprano singing together with melody.

Summing up, album of AEVUM is well done. Musicians connecting symphonic metal, progressive metal,  philharmonic elements and melodies. Every song has other scheme, other idea. Each track is different. Musicians put inside this album their passion, their hearts and their feelings. I recommend  this album. Generally their music would be love by listeners of NIGHTWISH, EPICA, WITHIN TEMPATION, THERION and for every who wants to listen unbelievable connection of Symphonic, Philharmonic, Modern and Progressive Metal with Melody.
