Abhorrent Deformity - Entity Of Malevolence album cover

Well it's 33 minutes and 48 seconds of in your face Brutal Death Metal! It's the first full-length album from the boys from Charlotte, North Carolina aka Ric Flair Country! According to what I have read about them, a lot of people preferred their 2013 Demo to this Release but I wanted to see for myself what they brought to the table this time.

Well after a long day's work and tedious details pertaining to my stressful job, I listened to this album on my way back home on the metro and the bus. By god...it really woke me up and really made me quite pumped up! Just brutal death metal, down to the bone and just crushing everything in their path. It definitely isn't the most original band in the genre, that's for sure. It's quite difficult to be different to be perfectly honest. But I did detect a wee bit more technical style than a lot of the bands. It does sound a lot like the good old legends of Brutal Death Metal like CANNIBAL CORPSE, MALEVOLENT CREATION (no pun intended with the name of their album), DEICIDE and HATE ETERNAL.

I'd say they sound really close to some early HATE ETERNAL. A little bit more squealing like a pig in the vocals for my taste but if you want to head-bang from here to eternity, it's a very energetic piece of work.

Like I said beforehand, not original and pretty stale in the genre but enjoyable.
