A WILHELM SCREAM recently visited Greece for a live show and from what I heard (since I unfortunately was unable to attend) they kicked some major ass, as they always do! The Massachusetts, USA, based quintet was formed in the early-mid 90's, but adopted the name A WILHELM SCREAM (which is a famous stock sound effect which mainly is used in films) around 2002. The band now releases a brand new self titled EP under its new home Paper + Plastick Records.

The Dexter Holland (OFFSPRING) protege A WILHELM SCREAM comes to offer a great dose of melodic Punk/Hardcore! Aggressive, yet melodic vocals with nice guitars and a groovy rhythm section is just what the band needs in order to drag us into its world. There is no way you won't start banging your head or play air drums while listening to one of these 5 never before released songs. If you are looking for some bands that may be similar to these guys, then I guess you will stumble upon STRUNG OUT, STRIKE ANYWHERE and PROPAGANDHI.

Extra kudos go to the great bass lines delivered by Brian Robinson, this guy knows how to make a good track sound even better. Well, not much more to say here since this release addresses to a specific audience and to people that are willing to check out something catchy and pretty good indeed.
