Zurich, Switzerland basedProgressive Death Metal group Virvum recently released their debut full-length calledIlluminance. A record that's been touted by many metal media outlets worldwide as one of the best death metal records of 2016. The band partnered with Heavy Blog Is Heavy to exclusively premiere a new drum playthrough for the song "Earthwork".

The playthrough proves yet again that the group's skill is not a result of studio trickery, these are talented hard working musicians indeed.
