South Wales metalheads Triaxis are thrilled to announce that highly experienced bassist, Becky Baldwin (Control The Storm, IDEstroy), has joined the band on a permanent basis. After receiving numerous applications from around the world & auditioning a number of excellent bass players, Becky's outstanding musicianship won through.

Having started playing bass at the age of 13, & subsequently moving to Bristol in 2009, Becky has become heavily involved in the city's music scene & has worked with a number of bands across a variety of genres, as well as recording sessions for Total Guitar Magazine. Her level of skill is unsurprising given the tuition received from the likes of Stuart Clayton (Carl Palmer Band), Damon Minchella (Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller) & Jim Barr (Portishead, Get The Blessing).

Lead vocalist Krissie Kirby says "We are delighted that Becky has joined us. Her skill as a musician was evident from the onset of her studio audition, & her professionalism & enthusiasm for the music was definitely apparent. We can't wait to get onstage with her & start the next chapter of Triaxis. We'd like to thank everyone who applied, the level of musicianship was excellent all round"

Triaxis are currently writing their third album, a follow-up to the acclaimed "Rage & Retribution" released on Rocksector Records in October 2012. The band will be appearing at SOS Festival, Radcliffe Civic Hall, Manchester on July 20th 2014, alongside headliners I AM I, NWOBHM legends Tysondog & many others, prior to a UK tour in September. They expect to enter the studio early in October to record, with early March pencilled in for release.
