The members of the hard rock outfit, TRAPT, are set to follow their 2013 full-length release Reborn up with an album's worth of acoustic adaptations of some of their biggest hits, aptly titled - The Acoustic Collection this fall.

Scheduled for a September 23rd release via Crash Collide Records, among the thirteen tracks found on the album, unique versions of fan favorites that helped catapult TRAPT to the top of the charts - 'Headstrong' and 'Echo' can be expected.

Trapt, the band's multi-platnium self titled debut album under Warner Brothers (2002), peaked at #42 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with'Headstrong' hitting #1 on both the Modern Rock Tracks and Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks charts and 'Echo' landing as a Top 10 single on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and a mainstay at MTV 2.

"This album is so such a refreshing departure from the sound that our fans have come to expect from us. I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised. The organic nature of acoustic instruments lends themselves well to our songs, as most start out on acoustic guitar. A lot of our fans have heard us play acoustic sets at radio stations and special performances and have been calling for an acoustic album. We have now fulfilled those wishes and can't wait for the feedback on an album we are so proud of!" - Chris Taylor Brown

Since their formation in 1997, Trapt has released six studio albums, one live album, one compilation album, three EPs and thirteen singles. This includes number one hits, a platinum album, and placements in movies and video games. Trapt has also traveled the world with some of the best known rock bands of today and of all-time, while managing to sell more than 2.4 million albums in the process.
