A cool little album from one of the youngest rock bands I have ever listened to and their youthful energy shines on this excellent album and you can really feel their passion for music and the proof as they say is in the pudding or in this case the proof is in the music so give it a spin and you'll see what I mean.
No. 9
Band: Khaos
Album: Risen

An excellent album from this USA/Swiss band as here you get a good mixture of different styles of rock including Hard Rock and Melodic Rock to name but a few and the result is an excellent album that was made entirely through the sending of files across the digital web which has been done before by other bands but they are proof that distance does not limit you as you can still make great music no matter where you are in the world.

The first of many Swedish albums on this list and that's no real surprise as those loveable Swedes have produced some top quality releases over the past 12 months and this just happens to be one of them filled with powerful melodies, big choruses, heavy guitar riffs and one amazing vocal performance that will amaze you every time you hear it.

A big surprise as this is a complete one person job that doesn't sound like a total disaster by any means as it's the total opposite and that's good as this is one of many Melodic Rock masterpieces I have had the pleasure of listening to this year including some other entries which you will find on this list.

I've heard a lot of British Rock albums this year but this one stands out to me as one of the finest thanks to this catchy, energetic and hard rocking piece of awesomeness from this three piece band that have rightly deserved the title of Leicester Legends in their hometown.

A collaboration between former VANILLA NINJA singer Lenna Kuurmaa, Italian mastermind Alessandro Del Vecchio and a squad of talented Melodic Rock musicians coming together to make an album that deserves to be joint with my number one spot but due to the rules of this list I've placed it at number two but still a worthy spot for a worthy masterpiece.
