TITANFEST: Final line-up announced
May 16, 2015
TITANFEST 2015 has just announced the final line-up for its inaugural all-dayer, taking place on Saturday, May 30.
Joining the already stacked bill are DEF CON ONE, featuring Antton Lant (formerly of Venom), plus late replacements progressive thrashers SYNAPTIK, and TYTAN, featuring Kevin Riddles (formerly of Angel Witch). The new additions will be taking the place of UNFORESEEN PROPHECY and DIVINE CHAOS - both of whom were forced to withdraw due to circumstances beyond the promoter's control. For the full line-up, see below.
TITANFEST organiser and NIGHTLORD guitarist, Ferenc Collins commented: "The response we've received from fans has been hugely positive, because it's the first time anyone's put together anything quite like this with the 'Old School' vibe. This is the first time TORANAGA and D.A.M. have played London since 1991, and there's some great newer bands featured on this festival that are seriously going places!
"We've heard about people travelling from Germany, Spain and France to see these classic bands! who knows where else? It's going to be an amazing day!"
The heavy metal all-day extravaganza will be taking over the sister venues of The Dome and Boston Music Room, in Tufnell Park London.
TITANFEST derives its name from THE UNDERGROUND TITANS TOUR '92, a UK tour of underground metal bands working together with a common goal - to bring the best in metal to those who appreciate it the most, and nobody appreciates it more than you: the dedicated die-hard metal fans.
That idea holds just as true today as ever it did, as TITANFEST now sees some of the most respected and time-hardened metal musicians working side by side with the next generation of the emerging UK metal scene.
Tickets are priced at £20 (excluding booking fees) and are available HERE. Doors will be at 12.30pm and after the bands finish, there will be DJs until 3am.
