Swedish Thrash Metallers THE HAUNTED continue to successfully promote their 8th full-length album, "Exit Wounds", which was released worldwide via Century Media Records last August.

THE HAUNTED's next travels starting this weekend take the band to China, Japan as well as to Australia, where they team up with label-mates Insomnium for a string of shows. Furthermore, the band will appear at several European summer festivals including Graspop (Belgium); Hellfest (France), Nord Open Air (Germany), Rock Harz (Germany), Brutal Assault (Czech Republic) and also Metal Hammer Paradise (Germany) later in 2015.

Additionally, THE HAUNTED have also already started the songwriting work for their upcoming album. Guitarist Jensen checked in with the following report: "Not known as a band that likes to rest on our laurels, we're pushing ahead with the follow-up to last year's 'Exit Wounds' album! We have most of the stuff written already, looking to record in August/September and to have it released before the end of this year. We're very excited about the new material and can't wait to give you the chance to hear it! Better nail down the roof in good time!and reserve the top spot on your x-mas wish list for this upcoming aural bad boy!"

THE HAUNTED's current album "Exit Wounds" was highly praised as a return to form and managed to enter international sales charts as follows: Germany # 64, Finland # 15, Switzerland # 100 , Sweden # 32, USA # 151 Top Current Albums, USA # 5 Heatseekers.
