ARIA Hall of Fame members and Australian legends, The Church, are currently putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to their internationally critically acclaimed last album 'Further/Deeper'.
The forthcoming, currently untitled, new release will be their 26th studio album.
The past several years have been wildly successful for the band with performances at Primavera Sound, SXSW, three North American tours and their first European tour in almost a decade.
They now return with the brand new single Another Century.
"Another Century is a romantic melodic stab of omnichord and guitars and quite unlike any past The Church song," singer and bassist Steve Kilbey remarked.
"The lyrics fell out of the sky very quickly and the music is dreamy and evocative of past futures."
Recorded at Rancom St and Spacejunk III; the track was written by The Church (Kilbey, Koppes, Powles, Haug) and produced by the band along with Ted Howard.
The Church will return to the U.S. for a limited run this summer beginning on June 28th in Ann Arbor, MI. The tour will make stops in Cincinnati, Nashville, Chicago, Richmond, Ardmore and Pawling. The band will also perform at this year's edition of Summerfest in Milwaukee.
