This past weekend, Dynamo Metal Fest 2016 took place in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Thousands of metal fans were present to watch the shows from American thrash metal band Anthrax, Swedish death metal pioneers At The Gates, and American heavy metal group Metal Church.

Dynamo Metal Fest have confirmed the first act to be confirmed for the 2017 edition, American thrash legends, Testament. Tickets are now on sale and Dynamo Melal Fest 2017 will be held on July 15, 2017, in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Testament first played at the original Dynamo Open Air Festival in Eindhoven in 1987, where they recorded their iconic live album. 30 years later, the band return to Dynamo Metal Fest to celebrate this historic performance.
In the early 80s, Testament formed under the name Legacy, their debut record, The Legacy, was an immediate hit in the legendary Bay Area thrash scene. In the years that followed, the band became one of the most popular bands in the genre.
The band are now set to release their twelfth studio album, The Brotherhood Of The Snake, in October, 2016. We have no doubt that this record will be appreciated by metal fans all over the world!
