STORMZONE: New Video & New Spanish Drummer
September 26, 2018
STORMZONE releases 'Albhartach', the third video from their latest album Lucifer's Factory. The 13 songs on Lucifer's Factory are all inspired by the myths and legends of STORMZONE's country of origin Northern Ireland, the previous two videos have been for 'Dark Hedges' the legendary area made famous in the successful tv show Game Of Thrones which is filmed in Northern Ireland, and the tale of the cut-throat highwayman 'Cushy Glen'. 'Albhartach' tells the tale of the ancient Northern Irish vampire who is said to have inspired Irish author Bram Stoker to write the world renowned tale of Dracula!
The new STORMZONE video also features their new Spanish drummer Joaquin Arellano 'El Niño'. JoaquÃn has played in some of Spain's biggest rock and metal bands including massive acts such as MURO, SARATOGA, MAGO DE OZ and Ã'U. He has toured Europe and South America on many occasions and as well as joining STORMZONE JoaquÃn is currently drumming in Spain with UNIVERSA and AMIGOZ. To get the right guy STORMZONE were told to think outside of the box...but they actually had to think outside of their country! The first live dates with JoaquÃn will be STORMZONE's tour of Spain in October from 24th - 28th. It's actually quite appropriate that someone called El Niño, the most powerful weather formation known to man (and woman), has joined a band called STORMZONE!!
'Albhartach' is the third video taken from their latest album Lucifer's Factory.
