SOLITARY: Set To Tear Up Many Spring/Summer 2016 Festivals
March 13, 2016
Solitary have announced that they will be appearing at four of the UK's top underground metal festivals this year.
First up on April 9[sup]th[/sup] the Solitary thrash machine will be appearing at the Zero Tolerance Magazine sponsored Funeral Fest, where they will be second on the bill to french death metal monsters and Iron Bonehead artists Skelethal. Funeral Fest will be held at the Soccer Bar in Barrow in Furness and features an array of underground talent alongside Skelethal and Solitary, including Sodomized Cadaver, Burning Flag, Wolf Bastard and Repulsive Vision. There will also be a special tribute to the much missed legend, Lemmy Kilmister: https://www.facebook.com/
Next up will be the Mosh Against Cancer event, being held at The Magnet in Liverpool over the weekend of the 13[sup]th[/sup] – 14[sup]th[/sup] of May. Here the band will be lining up alongside heavy hitters like Desecration and Basement Torture Killings: https://www.facebook.com/
Then Solitary will be heading north to play at the 2016 instalment of the Wildfire Festival, held at the Wiston Lodge, Biggar, in Scotland. Here the thrash stalwarts will be appearing with Tim 'Ripper' Owens – the ex-Priest vocalist performing a special set based around the Judas Priest Live In London DVD – Riot V, Vardis, RSJ, Soldier, The Deep, Wretched Soul and a host of other top metal talent: www.wildfirefestival.co.uk
Finally, Solitary will be rolling into Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove for Beermageddon – the three day celebration of the finest in underground metal talent taking place on the 26[sup]th[/sup], 27[sup]th[/sup] and 28[sup]th[/sup] of August. Here you'll be able to see Solitary test their fire power against the likes of Gehitika, Shadow Flag, Anihilated and Def Con One: https://imperativepr.us8.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=e5d1cad25cb51092dfa9506f6&id=2ece52eabd&e=9593daa298
All these shows will be a great opportunity to hear Solitary unleashing some brand new material from what will be their first all new studio album since 2008s acclaimed Requiem. The Preston thrashers have just finished work in the studio with renowned producer Simon Efemy - noted for his work with Napalm Death, Paradise Lost, Amorphis, Crowbar and many, many more – and early indications are that this next release will be the finest of Solitary's twenty plus year career.
