SOCIONIC: Launches IndieGoGo Campaign to Fund New Album

October 28th, 2014 - LOS ANGELES, CA ' The LA-based progressive heavy rock band Socionic has launched a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo to help fund the recording and production of a new album. Continuing its independent approach to music and art, the band will use funds raised to record, produce and release their second studio album (a 10 song tracklist tentatively set for an early 2015 release) along with artwork and accompanying merchandise. Additional funds will be used to produce music videos and support for touring. Rewards offered in the campaign include advanced digital access to the album, limited edition merchandise, and opportunities for participating with the band in behind the scenes writing and rehearsing sessions. The band's currently available debut album, "Identity", produced byRhys Fulber(Delerium, Fear Factory, Megadeth, Mudvayne, Scar the Martyr), has been well received by press, with Music Connection Magazine touting the album's lead single "Epiphany", as "A winner, a rock-radio-ready cut", and going on to describe the album as having "Stellar performances, rich production and an ability to craft multi-level tunes that would improve any sci-fi/horror soundtrack." It landed Socionic on Music Connection's Top 25 New Music Critiques of 2013 list as well as a feature appearance on LA radio's 95.5 KLOS morning show. Behind the album, engaging live shows, visual artwork, and a unique 3D motion graphic music video for "Epiphany" , the band has gained a strong following and continues to grow its influence both online and on stage.
Socionic is comprised of Michael Meinhart (vocals, programming), Matthew Denis (bass), Lior Dar (drums) and Billy Graczyk (guitar).
