Featuring their out-of-print EP, and split releases withDystopiaandStormcrow, the 8 song collection contains everything the short-lived Oakland band ever recorded. The vinyl release (available fromskuldreleases.de) includes insert, booklet, and 2 posters.
Originally recorded nearly two decades ago byNoah Landis (Neurosis)atPolymorph Studios, the much-anticipated discography has been remastered from the original tapes byBrad Boatright(From Ashes Rise) atAudiosiege Sonic Engineering. (Brad remastered the highly-acclaimedSleep "Dopesmoker"LP, as well as countless others includingIntegrity, Nails, Toxic Holocaust, High On FireandOff!)

Skavenformed in Oakland, California in 1995, giving birth to their dystopian brand of dark, emotional crust that was influenced byAxegrinder, Deviated Instinct,earlyNeurosisand the likes. The heavy, bass-driven band was unfortunately short-lived, but left us with three recordings that are still highly sought after today. The band broke up in 1997 and some years later vocalistZebediah GammackformedDemonSteed, while guitaristGeoff Evansbecame the front man ofAsunder.
