SHADOWSIDE: Featured in Japanese Magazine BURRN!
August 30, 2017
Japan's greatest Rock/Metal magazine BURRN! features on its September issue the cover story with Accept and an interview with Shadowside's lead singer Dani Nolden, talking about details regarding the production and release of the new album "Shades of Humanity", which marks the official debut of Swedish bass player Magnus Rosén (ex-Hammerfall) as a full time band member.
Shadowside is once again enjoying success in the Asian market, after reaching the 26th position on BURRN!'s best selling album charts with their previous album "Inner Monster Out". Now with "Shades of Humanity", the band has been receiving high praise from fans and press, defining this release as the band's best moment in their career.
"Shades of Humanity" explores deep subjects such as depression, abortion, the Mariana Dam disaster in Brazil and mankind's moral values, branching out in musical ways nobody expected while still keeping their heavy guitar riffs and catchy melodies, the band's trademarks. The album was recorded and produced in Sweden by Fredrik Nordström (Arch Enemy, Hammerfall, Evergrey) and Henrik Udd (Architects, Arch Enemy).
"Shades of Humanity" was released in Japan on July 26 via Spiritual Beast, in Europe and the US on July 28 via EMP Label Group (owned by Megadeth bass player David Ellefson), and the release in Brazil is scheduled for September 4 via Furia Music Records.
The music video for "Alive", the album's first single, has already been released and can be watched at:
