On May 16[sup]th[/sup], UK poetic black metal warriors, Shadow Flag, releasea brand new single. This time they have chosen to record a ferocious version of Behemoth's early 90s classic 'Pure Evil And Hate'. A blast through this classic black metal masterpiece showcases Shadow Flag at their best. The raspy vocals of JJ Flames angrily swirl inside the guitar drenched maelstrom that is provided by Carps Carpenter and Jake Doherty. This is Shadow Flag at their most aggressive. On this release, drums are provided by Anilez Carrier. They chose this song because 'it has been a staple encore for a couple of years now and is the perfect blueprint for any black metal stampede.'

The band are currently writing their third album which they expect to releaseearly in 2017. They continue toplay regular live shows around the UK and are looking to travel beyond those shores. They have been named in Wealdstone Black Metal as one of the essential UK black metal bands.
