The new Brazilian band Rising was formed in2013by the keyboardistZélão Baal.Initially focused on the heavy rock genre, the group released in 2015 the demo "Archaic Monolith" that was very well received by the Brazilian specialized press. "Band with extreme potential", has published, for example, Metal Na Lata webzine.

The song"Hexencraft", extracted from the demo, took part of the sixth edition of the compilation released by the radio show Roadie Metal.

The goodrepercussion of the demo wasthe guarantee that the group needed to invest professionally at thework. Thus, changes in theline-up ended up being inevitable. Besides Zelão, the singer Riq Therrys remained in the team. The search for new members yielded the duo the opportunity to join forces with experienced and respected musicians from the Brazilian heavy metal scene: the guitar player Carlos Kippes (Fates Prophecy),the drummer Jean Praelli (ex-Fire Strike, current MadDög)and the bass player Rodolfo Liberato (Eyes Of Gaia).

The music background of the new members has affected directly Rising's sonority, now heavier and focused on the Traditional Heavy Metal.
The song "Road Of Metal" is the first registration of this new line-up and sonority.

"Road Of Metal marks the beginning of this newstep onRising, now focused on the purest Traditional Heavy Metal",tells Zélão Baal."It all happened naturally. Thefruition of the work, and the newline-up, determined these changes, which will remain from now on."

Still according toZelão, the lyricof "Road Of Metal"was inspired on Gleison Junior's work along the brazilian radio show"Roadie Metal".
"The music is inspired byGleison's workalong both the compilation and radio show, andhis effort to provide thebrazilian metal bandsthe chance to have its works promoted. But thelyricsare also a metaphor for the individual struggle of all of us, musicians, promoters, agents, labels, zines, radio and headbangers for the aggrandizement of theBrazilian Metal scene."

"Road Of Metal"is already available on Rising's official Youtube channel:https://youtu.be/WusihDQnvwc
The song will take part of Rising'sEP "We Shall Rise"to be released soon.
