Sharon Osbourne has told Zap2it.com that production is imminent on a biopic being made about her husband Ozzy Osbourne.

"There's about to be a big announcement," she said. "It's been picked up and it's going into production. We're going to make a press announcement hopefully within the next two weeks. [There's no cast] yet, but we have a producer and we have lots of money and we're all starting."

She added that "somebody new" would be playing Ozzy, and that dream casting for herself would be "the girl from "An Education", the English girl Carey Mulligan."

Wouldn't it make sense for daughter Kelly to play the younger version of Sharon in the film?

"To play me?," she asked with a laugh. "She is a Mini Me, so yeah, she would be good."
