Cincinnati, OH | November 2, 2015 - After much anticipation, six-man metalcore/post-hardcore outfit OCEAN GRID has finally released their new EP, 'The Influence of Monsters.' The group teamed up with New Noise Magazine to stream the EP in its entirety, here.
As a whole, OCEAN GRID stands behind a cause that they are personally connected to and truly passionate about. This comes through in all aspects of the project and is portrayed in their music, videos, artwork, and forthcoming non-for-profit. OCEAN GRID explains, "'The Influence Of Monsters' EP brings a positive light to all of the negativity that people deal with every single day, everything from depression and anxiety awareness, self-hurt and suicide prevention, and giving hope to those who are bullied and victimized due to any Monsters that they deal with on a daily basis."

About Ocean Grid:
Ocean Grid is a six piece post-hardcore band based out of Cincinnati, Ohio who champions a strong and inspiring cause for depression and anxiety awareness, self-hurt and suicide prevention, and a variety of other topics. They focus on all things positive, explaining their mentality as, "There's enough negativity in the world being talked about. We like to focus on and bring light to all the positive aspects of life while letting everyone know that there's no such thing as a perfect person or situation, but knowing that we are not alone in this journey that you may be dealing with every single day, you're not alone in this."
Musically, the group has a mixture of melodic and catchy choruses, bouncy and driven guitars, deep, intense drums, and features two vocalists with completely different, yet complimentary vocal styles. The vocal lines and lyrics hit right where it matters for anyone needing a pick-me-up, feel good vibe for anything that they may be dealing with.
Ocean Grid has performed with We Came As Romans, For Today, Crown The Empire, Palisades and more, and just wrapped up a handful of dates on the Allstars Tour with Upon A Burning Body, Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive and Iwrestedabearonce.
