Jonathan Chunglo (DARKENED DREAMS, RED TEAR MEMORY) and Antony Hämäläinen (NIGHTRAGE, SLAVES FOR SCORES, BURN YOUR HALO) have launched a new Phoinix, Arizona-based progressive melodic death and black metal band called NERVOSIA.

According to a press release, the project "is a musical blending of different genres but keeping a consistent theme throughout!METAL! This band has a combined musical history of over 50 years experience Influences range from anything of classical contemporary origins to the most extreme of Death and Black Metal and everything in between."

The band, which also features additional contributions from VEHEMENCE guitarist Jacob Green, is currently recording its debut EP, The Plague Of Humanity, at Arcane Digital Recording studio (EXHUMED, PHOBIA). Early song titles include 'Redemption', 'The Black Sun' and 'Apathy's Throne' and are currently streaming on the band's MySpace Page.
