Today metalcore band, Monument of a Memory released a new song called "Seeking Somewhere - NightCore."

"This song has to do with a relationship that has gone bad between two people. The song goes through the thought process from one person's perspective, wondering if they can ever get back to the way they used to feel about the other person. It's a battle within the mind of wondering if what they are doing is good for them, or if it's just wishful thinking."

From the bustling NJ metal scene comes Monument of a Memory, a group with great things in both their rearview and the horizon. With blistering guitars, head-bobbing breakdowns, and visceral vocals, Monument of a Memory's metalcore mastery is undeniable.

This 5-piece made waves for the better part of a decade, culminating in a remarkable debut album in 2022. "Harmony In Absolution" saw Monument of a Memory fire on all cylinders and make a significant impact. Charting on the Billboard Top 200 Albums and reaching #16 for Top New Artist/Current Hard Music, listeners can't get enough of the act.

Monument of a Memory meshes a modern metalcore sound with clear-cut inspiration from the genre's past. Sounding as crushing as Killswitch Engage while getting as somber as Bad Omens, the talent at hand speaks volumes for the band's range. A commanding voice behind vocalist Dylan Newhouse is rounded out with polished guitar riffs from brother Jeremy. Drummer Brett Anspach brings compelling fills, as the backbone of bassist Josh Correa and guitarist Eren Guney completes the bunch. Everyone shines in Monument of a Memory - expect guitar solos, driving double-bass, and a clean/unclean vocal prowess in anything off "Harmony In Absolution".

Monument of a Memory's massive 2022 is gaining steam and the hard work is starting to pay off. The band capped off the year surpassing 1 million Spotify streams thanks to word-of-mouth and keeping busy touring. This included headlining The Two Christmases Tour and sharing the stage with Attack Attack!, VRSTY, and Before I Turn. After a year like 2022, the sky is the limit for a band with equal amounts drive and technique. With an even bigger 2023 already planned out, this won't be the last time you see the name Monument of a Memory.
