The Brazilian symphonic metal band, Lyria, recently released their second album, "Immersion", and the music video for the single "Let Me Be Me" and "Hard to Believe". The album was released with the help of fans, who helped musicians raise more than $ 13,000 via crowdfunding. With the power of Aline Happ's voice and elaborate arrangements, the band joins symphonic metal with folk in energetic melodies. I've attached the press release and images of the band below

"Do not try to change me", Lyria sings in a new music video

The message is very clear: each person is unique and it is foolish to try to change for the others. In "Let Me Be Me", the brazilian band Lyria shows that it takes courage to be who you are and to live your inner truth. The song is part of the album "Immersion", released in 2018 and already available in streamings. Recorded at the top of a building, the video was directed by Lyria in partnership with CS Music Videos, producer already known in the independent scene.

It is from the top of a building in the center of Rio de Janeiro city that "Let Me Be Me" pulsates. One of the most requested songs in the concerts of Lyria, the lyrics talks about to persist and face the unknown, but never losing the essence of who you are. This is the second single from "Immersion" (2018) and succeeds "Hard to Believe", which also won a music video that today exceeds 140,000 views on YouTube.

"Music speaks about freedom, how to get out of the other's eyes and see yourself as your own, with your defects and qualities, that make you a unique being. Some people project themselves into the other, pointing out defects", says Aline Happ, the lead singer and songwriter of the band.

Screaming from the top of a building for all to hear, the desire is to have a place in the light. Recorded with natural lighting, you can see the difference from previous videos, from "Hard to Believe" and "Jester", which assumed darkness as a recurring element. In this song, the Lyria seeks the clarity, as if at last it arrived at the point that it ambitioned: being themselves.

One of the great names of the brazilian metal, the Lyria is formed by Rod Wolf (guitar), Thiago Zig (bass) and Thiago Mateu (drums), besides Aline. Since 2012 on the road, they have become known in Brazil and in countries in Europe and the United States since the release of "Catharsis", debut album in 2014. Currently they are on tour with the album "Immersion", which has already passed by several cities in Brazil.

The "Let Me Be Me" video was edited and produced by CS Music's Vinicius Hozara, who also directed and directed the film with Lyria. The capturing of images by means of drones was of Glauber Barros and CS Music Videos. CS Music Videos is an independent production company that has worked with Lyria on other occasions, such as the "Jester" video, which has more than 230,000 views on YouTube. The company has also worked with bands like Hatefulmurder, Cara de Porco, Ágona, among others.
