Hollow World, fresh from their support for Fallujah last night, are today unleashing their Zombie-riddled video for savage new track "Wildfire".

Album "Exanimate" is almost upon us - their new record due for release on Friday March 17th.
Pre-Orders are available from now at the band's own website - hollowworld.com.au/merch - with a tonne of different bundles being made available.

The Video features the band in the world that the message of the "Exanimate" album describes - uninhabitable and harsh, fighting off hordes of Zombies in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. The band perform the track and hold back the beasts for as long as possible but are eventually consumed, The Walking Dead-style.

New Album "Exanimate" consists of two stories - One about a super-virus that wipes out the human race, the second story is of the human race being a virus that wipes out the world - rendering it uninhabitable. Both these stories twist and turn around each other as the album plays out, exploring the similarities between what a super-aggressive virus can do to a living body and the irreparable destruction that human beings are inflicting on our planet.

The band are out on tour in support of this record from 24th March until 29th April alongside Daemon Pyre and Zeolite, taking in Ballarat, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Warrnambool, Alice Springs for the Blacken Festival, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Exanimate has seen Hollow World push themselves not only from a technical perspective on the record, but also from a songwriting perspective. Roberts offered that "Instrumentally we have all grown more in-tune with each other and created more of a distinguished "sound" that is Hollow World. It's fast, it's melodic, it's heavy, it's savage and it's relentless. It's 40 odd minutes of extreme melodic death metal that we could not be more proud of."

Ermin Hamidovic from Systematic Productions (Devin Townsend Project, Periphery, Betraying the Martyrs) has produced the whole album - from engineering to mix and to master - he has handled the whole thing - and it sounds enormous. I can not wait to have it released and in the hands of people and hear what they have to say about it!"

Hollow World has shared the stage with Plini, At The Gates, Ne Obliviscaris, Psycroptic, King Parrot, Be'lakor, Boris the Blade, Make Them Suffer, Bleeding Through, Frankenbok and Rome.
