HOGS, whom we already collaborated with for the release of their first full length "Hogs in fishnets" (2015), entrust the new album to Red Cat Records, which will be released this Spring.
In 2012, Francesco, Luca and Pino got together and started laying down the first tracks. These were the core of a project that would have later involved Simone Cei, a 22 year old singer, who immediately showed his musical talent, strong writing and melodic skills.
In july HOGS started jamming together and working on the original backing tracks. In january 2015, their debut album: "HOGS in fishnets" was recorded at Guido Meli's "Plastic Sun Studio", due to be released on April 20 for Red Cat Records (ITA).
After two years, starting from the idea that rock'n roll is pure fun and boy! You shake that butt! HOGS release on the 30 of March the second album "Fingerprints".
Influence of progressive rock and 90's funk rock ( like King's x, Living Colours and many others) stand out , while Simone's rock blues vocals give a strong edge to a band wisely guided by good old rock & roll. It's a strange "genre" to define, in fact the band refuses a musical tag, it's simply rock and roll! Hogs are seventies rock band grew up in the nineties with a young freakish singer, strange son of his own times.
