Formed by professional musicians with successful careers on the Brazilian jazz scene, the group Higher has called attention from the press and public in Brazil with its unique and difficult to label type of heavy metal.

Its self-titled debut album was released in August during an event for the Brazilian press that gathered journalists from important media vehicles such as Rolling Stone magazine and the brazilian music television channel Play TV, besides the specialized media like the magazines Rock Brigade, Dynamite, Hell Divine, among others.

Recorded in Sao Paulo at Fusao Studios with the production by Thiago Bianchi (Shaman, Noturnall), the album brings the tracks "Lie", "Illusion", "Keep me High", "Climb the Hill", "Like the Wind", "Break the Wall", "Time to Change", "Make It Worth" and "The Sign".

The band launched on its Youtube official channel a 'Track By Track' with excerpts of all the tracks from the album. Check it out:
