The Heavy Montréal festival is proud to announce the names of three great bands just added to the 2016 lineup!

First up is grindcore group NAPALM DEATH who have several decades of experience under their belts. Their newest release Apex Predator ' Easy Meat is the band's 15th studio album and they'll be joining us at the festival this summer to perform tracks from this critically-acclaimed record as well as from their entire discography.

Following the release of their new record Mariner, CULT OF LUNA will be at Parc Jean-Drapeau to play some of the tracks that earned them the top prize at the Swedish National Radio Awards. Their newest release features Brooklyn-based vocalist Julie Christmas as a main collaborator, making Mariner one of the post-metal band's best albums yet!

Also joining the HEAVY lineup is American group POP EVIL who specialize in a mix of metal and alternative rock and have played on tours with Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch.
