Harrison Marcello, guitarist in the NYC based rock band Tempt, has been selected by a panel of judges as a finalist in the Next Young Gun promotion. Rolling Stone Magazine and D'Addario have joined forces to conduct an international search for the next great young guitarist.
Said Harrison on his selection: "This Recognition from D'Addario andRolling Stone is amazing and helps us to reach more fans and further our cause to bring back rock music. There's an entire generation of kids who have never seen a rock show or had their faces melted with a
solo. We're performing music that our fans love and doing it with no compromise and we're not going to stop until we hear big hooks and ripping guitars on the radio again! I've been using D'Addario XL strings since I first started so being selected feels great and I'm
psyched to try out the new NYXLs!"
Harrison's finalist submission features a live video performance from Tempt's debut club performance at NYC's Sullivan Hall. He uses Suhr Guitars, Fractal Audio's AxeFX II and D'addario strings to craft his signature sound.
