HARK: Embark on European tour
April 17, 2015
HARK will kick off their European tour as special guests of PRONG at Groningen's Vera in The Netherlands tomorrow on the 17th of April.
The Welsh heavy rockers will be joined by Belgian sludge-heads STEAK NUMBER EIGHT and continue to shake up Belgium, the UK, France, Switzerland, and Austria until a final leg of five dates in Germany with a last show in Hamburg at Knust on May 3rd.
"Having the chance to tour with such ground breaking visionaries as Prong, is an opportunity we can't wait to fulfill", comments bandleader Jimbob. "As well as having the commonality of being power trios, both bands champion the cross pollination of genres and influences, and we're more than happy to be a part of such a diverse tour."

HARK have recently released a new video, which was created under the direction of Rhodri Thomas and vocalist/guitarist Jimbob Isaac. The clip for the song "Palendromeda" is taken from the Welsh trio's album debut 'Crystalline' and can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFa3KnTy1iw
"I've taken the role of art director, as well as co-director alongside the super talented Rhodri Thomas", mastermind Jimbob Isaac comments. "We've conjured up a video that gives fans further insight to the visual world of Hark. It was a fun shoot, super DIY in approach, and we wrapped in two days."
HARK will be touring in support of their debut full-length, 'Crystalline', which has been named as one of the best six metal albums of 2014 by Entertainment Weekly and is still available in various formats via the Season of Mist shop.
Artwork and tracklist of 'Crystalline' are shown below:

The phoenix of classical myth was considered to be a creature of great beauty. Bursting into flames at the end of its life cycle, the bird would be reborn out of the ashes of its predecessor. HARK share a similar fate as the trio is spawned from the remnants of celebrated British heavy rockers TAINT. The creative hand of frontman Jimbob Isaac can be clearly felt throughout HARK's fantastic debut album "Crystalline". Angular riffing, pounding rhythms, and dually melodic and his unrelentingly ferocious vocals lead to galloping passages that show the maturity of a band far more honed than expected from a debut. The Welsh did not leave any detail to chance, but carefully crafted music, lyrics and visuals into an all encompassing concept. This diligence includes having their first full-length mixed by Kurt Ballou of CONVERGE fame (KVELERTAK, TORCHE), who added a powerful yet crystal clear production to HARK's unique sound. The artwork was personally designed and drawn by Jimbob Isaac, who is not just known as an outstanding musician but also working as an acclaimed graphic artist. "Crystalline" furthermore features guest vocals from Neil Fallon (CLUTCH) on the stunning track "Clear Light of!.". HARK literally rock the world hard with this release.
"For Earth-shattering intensity, HARK are beyond fault". 4/5 Kerrang!
