Ozzy Osbourne / Firewind guitarist GUS G. is soon to release his upcoming sophomore solo album "Brand New Revolution" this week's Friday, July 24th via Century Media Records in Europe, Australia and South America, Dismanic/eOne in North America and King Records in Japan.

Gus G. checked in with the following comment about the track: "The album's only instrumental track, 'The Quest,' is a very strong track and creates an impact. You hear lots of sides of my playing, not only the technical leads and heavy riffing, but melodies and even acoustic. Lots of stuff jam-packed into this song, but somehow it all comes together nicely."
In other news, Gus G: is appearing on the front cover of the new issues of the highly respected magazines Guitar (Germany), Guitar World (USA) and Guitare Xtreme (France); as can be seen above. Congratulations!
Additionally Gus G. has just wrapped up working on the album's first promotional video-clip together with longtime visual design partner and director Patric Ullaeus (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Within Temptation, etc.). The clip for the album's title track, "Brand New Revolution" will be debuted in the coming days!

"Brand New Revolution" was recorded with Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Anthrax, Steel Panther, etc.) and mixed by Mike Fraser (Metallica, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, etc.). Just as on "I Am The Fire", the core of GUS G.'s recording group consisted of Jo Nunez (Firewind) on drums and Marty O' Brien (Lita Ford band) on bass.
