"There are a lot of parallels between 'Equinox' and 'Of Redemption,' which was the lead track on our last album 'The Disconnect,'" guitarist/vocalist Jesse Brint said. "Both were the final songs written for each album and ended up being the lead track. It was a pretty easy choice in both cases. 'Equinox' sounds like it could have been on our 2007 debut 'The Process of Indoctrination,' in that it focuses on the thrash roots we all grew up on. But there's also death metal in there, along with some black metal and some more of the progressive elements of our sound. The lyrics straddle both myth and reality and Equinox tells the story of a person in power whose lust for more ultimately results in them losing everything."
Slated for a Nov. 2 release date and consisting of eight songs, Equinox is both the most sprawling and concise offering Gross Misconduct has written to date.

Equinox builds upon the foundation laid on Gross Misconduct's first two albums, "The Process of Indoctrination" (2007) and "The Disconnect" (2011). Equinox is an amalgam of the frantic thrash found on the band's debut and the more progressive elements of its follow-up.
Since its inception in 1999, Gross Misconduct has shared the stage with seminal bands from across the globe, including Napalm Death, At the Gates, Amon Amarth, The Haunted, Amorphis, Dark Tranquility, Martyr, Archspire, Brutal Truth, Skeletonwitch and Rotten Sound, among many others.
The band consists of Jesse Brint (guitars/vocals), Julian Kenchenten (bass), John Kurucz (drums) and David London (guitars/vocals).
