The band talks about each track of their debut album "Burning Inside" and revealing some deeper insights about the album, the artwork and the band:

Q: Who has produced and mixed the album together with you?

FRANTIC AMBER: We produced the album ourselves together with Pelle Saether and it was really great working with him. He did the mixing and is a talented sound engineer so we are very happy with the result of it all.

Q: Can you tell something about the Album Cover Artwork, the creator/painter & the idea?

FRANTIC AMBER: The album is very diverse as are the songs and the lyrics contain a lot of different subjects and themes so the artwork had to apply to all of the above. We needed a mixture of hard and brutal but elegant and soaring which Vladimir Chebakov's artwork really does for us. We are very pleased with the result of his work and it represents us well.

Q: What inspired you to title the album "Burning insight"?

FRANTIC AMBER: The name of the album came from the name of the title song "Burning

Insight" which is based upon the horrible rapes in India written for the victim against the violators and for the world to open its eyes to the horrible things that are going on. The meaning urges the offenders doing these crimes to come to a burning insight of what they are doing to other people and that they must stop and pay for what they have done.

After a while the name of the song then started to have a double meaning for the band as well. We ourselves had some burning insights and a change in lineup among other things were the outcome. It's funny how a song, music video or title can grow in meaning through time.

Q: Is there a message through the band's name "FRANTIC AMBER" and what are your future plans?

FRANTIC AMBER: There's really not a grand story behind our name, Frantic Amber was really just two words put together but the name has grown into representing the brutal "frantic" together with the more feminine touch of the color "amber". It just felt right when spoken and it had a great gut feeling somehow.

We do what we love doing and share that with the world to listen to and we hope to inspire others as well as give them music they can relate to and most importantly feel something from. Playing live is the best output for us to do this with our passion for being on stage and we will continue to play abroad and widen our horizons on the global map.

IN OWN WORDS - Track by track about the release

"Burning Inside"

1. Burning Insight:
Based upon the horrendous rapes in India that came to the surface for the world to know. The lyrics are written for the woman and against the rapists. That they have destroyed her life and should get what they deserve. At the same time it's also a calling to the humans race to wake up and do something about these problems that women face in many parts of the world.

2. Bleeding Sanity:
When you are seriously down it really feels like your sanity is bleeding. The lyrics are about these feelings when you are so depressed and weighing the choice to live or to die. Everything is meaningless and it's heavy, so heavy. This is the fight inside to find something to hold on to and live for. A lot of people feel or have felt this way more than once.

3. Soar
Soar has a very strong and positive message. It's about appreciating all the good things that we have, to not give up or let negativity get us down but rather just to soar! It's okay to look to the light. When things get tough seek inwards and find your strength to get out of the darkness. It makes us stronger and you choose who you want to be.

4. Drained
This song is written as a blend of reality and fantasy. The theme is something that drains all energy and happiness but you can't seem to stay away from it anyway. It's written as a story where the listener follows some sort of "creature" which is free for interpretation. It can for example be interpreted as one's own mind, another person or a fantasy creature of some sort. It's up to the listener to decide what to make of the story.

5. Awakening
The lyrics depict the feelings you get when you suppress your frustrations and negative thoughts for too long. You are calm on the outside but boiling on the inside. This feels like a beast that lives in our soul and awakes when it becomes too much and the water boils over. It can both be interpreted as negative: that you give in and sometimes it just goes bad. - or as a positive: that you have had enough and stand up to say no.

6. Entwined
Theme: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! This text describes what is happening inside Dr. Jekyll when he becomes Mr. Hyde and the constant fight between the two. It's written in first-person perspective so the listener can feel it happening inside themselves. There are people in reality as well who first seem to be a Jekyll but end up showing their true face as a Hyde.

7. Wrath of Judgement
Don't give a damn about what everyone else thinks and just be yourself! The lyrics are crafted to give strength inside and encourage the listener to dare to be themselves and don't let anyone else tell them otherwise. You are your own master and there are no rules, you become the person you yourself choose to be. People will always be around to judge you anyways, so it's better just to not care about it and dare to stand on your own two feet.

8. Unbreakable
Don't let anyone break you even though it feels like the whole world is on your shoulders. Unbreakable is about how life can really be unbearable and cruel sometimes but instead of falling apart you pick up the pieces and keep on fighting because this is what makes you stronger. When life gives you lemons, listen to this song.

9. Self Destruction
This is a dark one about self-hatred, self-doubt and self-destruction. Most of us have these kinds of phases in our life where we are not comfortable being in our skin and it feels like whatever we do it just ruins everything even though you are trying. The questions: Who am I? Where am I going? I hate myself but why? are echoing in the mind. Action is required otherwise you will destroy yourself. Dare to ask for help and find a way to become the person you want to be.

10. Ghost
You feel emotionless, lifeless and overlooked just like a ghost. The lyrics is an abstract depiction of wandering through the darkness, to feel invisible and insignificant but at the same time frustrated and angry. Truths are revealed from your core and the forces in the darkness represents your subconsciousness tearing at you. During the song you travel inwards to your core and confront your darkness but you fall and lose: This is chaos.
