It's Hard to believe that Tuesday October 4th Officially Marks Firebrand Rock Radio's second birthday, and what a hell of a two years its been, building the station up to this level. we are now listened to in 92 countries and logging over 300,000 listener minutes each and every month. which is great news for something that was started on less than 50 quid a week two years ago.

But enough prattling on about how succesful we have been (although must say im very proud of my team)

A two day fundraising marathon, hosted on Firebrand Rock Radio by Metal Goddess Jen.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
It is estimated that in 2012, there will be 226,870 new cases on invasive breast cancer diagnoses. This month, two people very dear to my heart (my Grandmother and my close friend) were both diagnosed with breast cancer – a week apart from each other.

This is a cause near and dear to my heart.

What better way to bring awareness a cause than to hold a fundraiser than by doing a two day live radio marathon. We will asking for donations and would like to do actions/giveaways for donations given for this cause.
We would greatly appreciate any donations of autographed merchandise – Cds, Shirts, etc for auction/giveaway for this event.

Firebrand Magazine
Tuesday October 4th sees the launch of the brand new Firebrand Magazine, this will feature all the latest news and views from the music industry and will focus heavily on the bands that never make it to the conventional music media. Firebrand magazine will also feature in two formats an online glossy mag and a limited edition print run... Guaging on response will determine how high the print run goes but the initial print run will be 500.

The readership we hope to gain off the actual figures off the station , so we should be looking at initial readership of over 10,000.
